Tess Crosley may have revealed a cryptic clue about the status of her marriage after she became embroiled in the scandal surrounding AFL star Lachie Neale’s shock split from wife Jules.
Tess Crosley has been making headlines in recent weeks after she found herself at the centre of the drama surrounding AFL ace Lachie Neale’s bombshell split from wife Jules.
While Tess was relatively unknown just months ago, interest has heightened around her since Lachie publicly confirmed his split from Jules and stepped down as Brisbane Lions’ co-captain last week.
Tess has remained tight-lipped about her former friends’ split but has been captured by paparazzi almost daily, and the pictures seemingly reveal a telling detail about her own marriage.
Tess, a former dental assistant, married finance director Ben Crosley in December 2017, and they share a two-year-old son.
She has been photographed running solo errands around Brisbane, visiting local eateries and taking her son for a walk.
But one thing has stood out: She has not been wearing her wedding ring.
Meanwhile, Ben has jetted off on a lads’ holiday to Bali and posted pictures of himself enjoying a luxury fitness retreat with his mates. “Starting 2026 right,” one of the posts was captioned.
It comes as, on New Year’s Eve, police were pictured attending Tess and Ben’s home and leaving with several pieces of luggage.
“Officers attended [the address]... and took possession of a number of items following a welfare check.
“There is no criminal matter being investigated; as such, no further information will be provided at this time,” the spokesperson told the Daily Mail.
Tess, a practising Mormon turned social media influencer, was best friends with Jules for several years and frequently documented her outings with the Brisbane-based hairdresser, along with Lachie and Ben.
Jules, who has been married to Lachie since 2018, has now made it clear that this friendship is firmly dead in the water.
ƯLast month, she publicly branded Tess an “idiot” and demanded she remove all photos with her and the ex-Brisbane Lions co-captain.
“Take these down you idiot, you’re embarrassing yourself,” Jules wrote under Tess’s picture of the foursome at the Brisbane Lions’ AFL celebrations in September.
In a separate post, Jules touched on her marriage breakdown and said she had been “betrayed”.
“I want to make it very clear that I am not ‘working through’ anything. I have been betrayed in the most unimaginable way.
“All I can do now is try to heal and do what’s best for my children,” the mum-of-two penned.
She has since unfollowed both Lachie and Tess and removed all evidence of them from her Instagram page.
In a press conference on Friday, Lachie issued an apology and admitted he had “let down” those close to him.
“While I won’t go into specifics, I can say that I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions that have let down those that are closest to me. And for that I am deeply sorry,” he told reporters.
When asked directly whether he had been unfaithful, Neale responded: “No, I can’t address those rumours.”
