Awkward Lachie Neale detail on sports talent and marketing agency site raises eyebrows

Lachie Neale’s relationship turmoil has played out in the public eye which makes the detail on his sports management site even more baffling.

Lachie Neale’s marriage breakdown has been messy to say the least. But those around the Brisbane Lions star aren’t helping his cause.

After what Jules Neale described as the “ultimate betrayal”, she did all she could to distance herself from the 32-year-old.

Not only did the hairdresser remove several pictures and call out former friend Tess Crosley – the woman at the centre of the saga – on Instagram for not doing the same, but she also scrubbed the couple’s shared talent management company from her social media bio as well.

Jules used to have her talent agency’s email address in her bio, but now it only has the Instagram handles for her hairdressing and children’s clothing label.

It also appears as though she is no longer working with TGI Sport - a sports talent and marketing agency that both she and Lachie were represented by - with her page on the company’s site longer able to be found.

News.com.au reached out to TGI Sport to ask if that was the case and to also pose a question regarding the eyebrow-raising bio of Lachie Neale.

Obviously written before his marriage breakdown, Neale’s page bio says: “While leading by example on the field, he also works with his younger teammates off the field to help them get the best out of themselves.

“Away from football, Neale is married to partner Jules, who he met while living in Perth.

“They have recently added a pet dog to their family, and enjoy trips back to Perth and home to Lachie’s family farms in Adelaide when they have a chance.”

Accompanying the text are pictures of the couple together.

The bio remains despite Jules making it clear her and Lachie are “not working through anything” and that their marriage is done.

Jules has since moved back to Perth, where she will now raise the couple’s young children, supported by her family.

And in a clear indication their relationship is beyond repair, Neale was spotted picking up some of his last possessions from their former home in Brisbane’s Seven Hills.

Since his split with Jules, the dual Brownlow Medal winner has moved into an apartment in Brisbane.

Neale spoke to the media about the off-field controversy on January 2, stating that he takes full responsibility for the breakdown of his marriage.

“While I won’t go into specifics, I can say that I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions, which have hurt those closest to me. For that I am deeply sorry,’’ he said.

With questions lingering surrounding the breakdown of the marriage, Neale was asked bluntly during his press conference if he had cheated on his wife, to which he responded: “No, I can’t address those rumours”.

He answered another question by saying he has “regrets” about his personal life.

It is not the only bizarre move either. A look at Neale’s Instagram following reveals that while he no longer follows the mother of his two children or Tess Crosley, he does still follow Ben Crosley, the jilted lover of Tess.

Ben has been notably absent from Tess’s recent 30th birthday post and Christmas celebrations.

The finance director — who shares a toddler with Tess — chose to escape the noise by flying to Bali for a boys trip as he began the new year.

He has been spotted at Bambu Fitness in Bali alongside friends Tom Bennallack and Seth Mutton.

While the couple have not publicly declared their marriage is over, the lack of wedding rings in recent pictures suggests that is likely the case.

The strange details come after fresh details about Lachie and Tess’s alleged infidelity came to light.

Reports emerged this week that Neale and Crosley were “not discreet” in public or private places and that their alleged affair had been taking place for up to six months.

According to the Herald Sun, Neale was allegedly caught with Tess Crosley, a close friend of his wife Jules, in a compromising position in a car.

But that may not have been the first time.

And if it had been going on for several months, it means it may have been ongoing during Brisbane’s road to a historic grand final win.
