Lachie Neale has been spotted at the home he used to share with his wife and kids as details about his ‘betrayal’ come to light.
There appears to be no going back for Lachie Neale as he picked up the last of his personal belongings from the family home amid fresh details emerging about his “unimaginable betrayal” of wife Jules.
A bombshell report in the Herald Sun on Tuesday revealed Neale learned about her husband’s betrayal after a fellow WAG caught him in a compromising position with Tess Crosley in a car.
After mulling over whether to inform Jules, the WAG consulted with another Lions player’s partner before deciding to tell the mum of two what they saw.
At the time Jules and the Brisbane star lived just minutes from Tess and her husband Ben, with the couples close friends.
But after what Jules described as an “unimaginable betrayal” she left Neale and moved back to Perth where she will now raise the couple’s young children, supported by her family.
And in a clear indication that their relationship is beyond repair, Neale was spotted picking up some of his last possessions from their former home in Brisbane’s Seven Hills.
Neale, who was wearing a brown cap, black T-shirt and sunglasses, was pictured taking tongs and what appears to be a shoebox full of possessions out of his former home.
Since his split with Jules, Neale has moved into an apartment in Brisbane.
Neale spoke to the media about the off-field controversy on January 2, saying he takes full responsibility for the marriage breakdown.
“While I won’t go into specifics, I can say that I have let my family down and I apologise for my actions, which have hurt those closest to me. For that I am deeply sorry,’’ he said.
With questions lingering surrounding the breakdown of the marriage, Neale was asked bluntly during his press conference if he had cheated on his wife, to which he responded: “No, I can’t address those rumours”.
He answered another question by saying he has “regrets” about his personal life.
It comes after the off-field drama erupted when Jules responded to a report that she and Lachie were experiencing marriage problems.
She rubbished claims they were “working through” their problems before details of what transpired surfaced.
Crosley, who is at the centre of the marriage breakdown, has remained silent but did a major purge of her Instagram account, removing photos of her and the Neales celebrating Brisbane’s grand final victory over Geelong in September.
One photo in particular, showing Crosley’s knee leaning into the Lions star as the two couples celebrated the premiership win, was at the centre of the scandal.
That has now been deleted
The influencer has also deleted several other photos featuring the Neales, but even still her account still features a few snaps of her hanging out with them, along with some comments that make for some awkward reading.
Recent pictures of Crosley also seemingly show that her relationship with Ben is over.

Her husband was notably absent from her recent 30th birthday post and was spotted at Bambu Fitness in Bali just days earlier.
Tess was also spotted without her wedding ring on while visiting a cosmetic clinic in Brisbane on Tuesday, also seeming to hint that their relationship is also beyond repair.
